Everyone says I'm a boring guy
I'm not going to deny that - I know their reasons I have a face like a manga character, glasses and a bowtie I'm short and scrawny and moody and on top of that, I'm a crybaby But they just don't know the real me When I feel like it, I can be amazing I can warp to the world of dreams in 0.9 seconds I win the gold medal for the quickest nap I don't care if I can't keep up No matter who you are, things never go well at first We fall down brilliantly and skin our knees That's how we learn a new kind of pain A peaceful world can make us yawn But listen - even now, somewhere, someone is crying If I'd been able to say "thank you" and "sorry" honestly I could meet a smile even more beautiful than yesterday's The silly scenarios I always drew in the crucial moments Rather than searching for their continuation I'll go now to meet the continuation of the dream I drew behind the teacher's back I don't care if it repeats over and over No matter who you are, things never go well at first Today more than yesterday, and even more tomorrow That's how I'll gradually get closer Whistling and snapping my fingers To a melody that's never existed anywhere, anytime I don't care if I can't keep up No matter who you are, things never go well at first We fall down brilliantly and skin our knees That's how we can grow a little stronger John by LM.C Because I draw inspiration from music.
